It has been 840 days since I decided to change MY life!

HOLY MOLY!!

I don't really believe that it's been 840 days... not only that, but that means its been 122 days since I last blogged on here.  In 840 days a ton of things have happened including a few New Years resolutions that have come and gone... HA.  Right now I am on a "fast" with the new church I am attending.  Its amazing actually.  I noticed tonight, during a cheat meal, because I'm sickly ill, that I actually don't enjoy the 'junk' food anymore.  The Pepsi tasted funny, as did the white bread that I ate with my shrimp bisque.. which was heavenly.

In other news.

Mommy is sick.

Dylan is huge, going to be six in a few short weeks, and loves going to school... well most of the time!

Maya is almost 17 months, and runs everywhere, climbs on everything, and still likes to put random items in her mouth, which is not so very fun for mommy and daddy.

Daddy & I are good, we are very blessed and are thankful each morning for another day in the life, whether we act like it or not, this really is the perfect life.

We are living the dream.

[I really promise to write more, especially while I am fasting from my daily FB use as well!]

Day 718

The weeks are flying by these days, its Monday, and before I know it... its Friday again.  The minutes, hours, and days are just gone before I know it.  I feel like every time I blink I am missing out on some sort of possible opportunity.  My plate is so full, not sure what other opportunities I could take on at this point though.  However, I wouldn't complain if some new FUN things were thrown my way.

For instance, Rafal brought home a kayak last week and I can NOT wait to take it out on the water water with him.  He also brought home four bins of camping supplies, including tents and sleeping bags, so guess who is going camping and kayaking soon?

THIS GIRL RIGHT HERE!

When you ask? I have no idea... BUT, I want to go so bad!  So like I need to better manage my time in order to blog, I need to better manage my time so that I can go enjoy the great outdoors some more.

This week is a catch up week at my home, I have been so sick with tooth issues that not much has gotten done.  So today is a day that I need to utilize to the best of my abilities, alas, I must go!

Blog more soon <3

Day 712; Since my life, well, changed.

I can not believe it has been a year and a 11 months since I decided to better my life.  September of 2011 was a huge month for me.  I decided to go back to college to pursue my dreams of one day becoming an architect.  I started writing an article for a website called Examiner, where I would write about local, family oriented things.  I started my first round of Insanity and started living a healthier life style.  I started feeling so much more spiritual, and enjoyed my new found love for MY God.  I began baking my own bread and planted a few herbs on my tiny apartment porch.  We also welcomed a new friend to our family on September 25th, his name is Marley and he helped to make our lives a happier place.  We saved him, and he saved us, that's for sure.

Since doing all of the above and uplifting my spirit and making sure to not allow anymore negativity to enter my world, amazing things have happened.

When I say amazing, I mean....

AMAZING!!!!

For one, I got healthier than I had ever been in my entire life.  After trying since April of 2010, so almost a year and a half, we got pregnant in November of 2011.  By the grace of God, we had a beautifully stunning baby girl on August 21st 2012.  I made the Dean's List every semester through 2011-2012 and worked really hard in each class to maintain A's and B's.  We found and moved into our perfect family dream home, I had envisioned this home for months, and it was set at my feet like a gift.  Rafal has received numerous raises since then, and we are actually able to sustain a happy healthy and sometimes fun lifestyle. Dylan started kindergarten after a great year of VPK.  Life has flip turned upside down, that's for sure.

Today is 712 days since I posted Day 1, on September 30, 2011.  How crazy to me that it has almost been two years since I started documenting this crazy journey.  The worst part is, it has been since January 8th, 2013 since I last posted anything on my blog, and I have missed it terribly.  That's 246 days since I last felt I had the time to sit down and have some me "blogging" time.  That is NOT ok.  I am upset with myself.  If I can't find 30 minutes a few times a week to blog about anything, then I need to manage my time a little better, because I want to thank my blogging for initially getting me on this healthier path in life.

SO as of today, September 11, 2013, I pledge to find more time, for ME.

I hope you guys will pick back up and follow along as I catch you up on my journey!  Nothing has changed much, the blessings are abundant and just keep flowing in.

Day 464-ish, I think?

Really???

My last blog was November 12, 2012?!?! How have TWO WHOLE MONTHS flown by!!!???

I am mad at myself.

Ugh.

Maya is 4 and a half months old, with a tooth on the bottom left and one coming in right above it, our little baby won't have a toothless grin for much longer!

She is sitting better and better every day.  I am sure it is thanks to the walker Santa brought her :)

Life is amazing.

70 more credit hours to go in college, and this semester I will get 20, with the 5 classes I am enrolled in.  As well as 20 more this summer and 20 more in the fall.  I will only have 3 classes left come January of next year!!!  I am beyond proud of myself.

Rafal is busy, busy, busy at work these days, which is such a blessing.

Dylan is doing AMAZING at school :)  My big boy.

We have BIG PLANS for 2013, maybe soon I will have some extra time to blog about it all... as of right now though, no time.... I need to hit the hay while my family is resting their heads :)

Good night!!!

Day 408 Of A Better Me :)

Who knew life with a new born would be so chaotic?  I don't remember this with Dylan, I always had "free" time when he was a wee little pickle head.  Maya is much more demanding than he ever was.  Maybe she is how most babies are and I just got lucky with Dylan?  Who knows!

All I know is that I haven't had time to blog in WEEKS as you can so obviously see.

Maya is huge now.

And so beautiful its nuts!

I have started exercising again and taking pictures and measurements... hopefully in a few more weeks I can post some obvious transformation pictures and stats!  :)  Excited!
