About Me & Mine

My name is Sara Elizabeth Schumacher, and even though its very cliche I will inform you that my parents brought me in to this world on the very early morning of August 25, back in 1986.
Which makes me a Virgo, and actually I like to call myself a "Lergo".  I am right on the cusp of Leo and Virgo.  Like a Leo, I love to be center stage and crave the affection and attention from others.  And like a Virgo, I may be a neat freak, but I still have a closet that's a wreck and a disaster under my bed.  I have a wild soul and a kindred spirit.  I never thought I would settle down, or become "tame" in any way.  But God has a way of changing your plans and showing you that your way was never really YOUR way.  He has a plan bigger and brighter for me than I ever imagined.  Now that I have been on this planet for a quarter of a century and learned quite a few lessons I feel like I have a bit of knowledge, maybe even more than other people my age, on proper ways to live your God given life.

1. Smile through the pain and heart aches.
[I know it can be tough, but seeing is believing, and if you can see your happiness you can become your happiness.]

2.  Dream it to come true.
[If you can focus on a dream, with all your passion, you can make it a reality.]

3. Never EVER give up.
[I know they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, but it's true.  Know that no matter what struggles come your way giving up only makes it more difficult.]

4. Live with no regrets.
[One day, you WILL look back on your life, and how will you feel about the decisions you made along the way.]

5. Believe in angels, fairies, and other beautiful creatures.
[They are real, they are beautiful, and they are always around to help you when you are in need.]

I met the amazing man who helped me to turn my life around on January 25, 2007.  We met on a hot Florida night in Orlando, by fate.  TRUE FATE.  God had it in his plan, and we had no control over it.  He knew my taste, He knew his likes, and He put us together and sat back and watched the magic unfold.  I thank God every day for that night.  Who knows where I would be, or who I would be without him in my life.  Because of this wonderful man, Rafal Szmyglewski, I have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy.  He was brought to us on March 14, 2008 and we named him Dylan Joseph.  After years of trying to give Dylan a little sister we finally succeeded when all hope was lost.  I am currently nine months pregnant with our little Maya Riley.  Rafal gave me a family and I gave him a home.  We were meant to help each other through very hard times, and we have both come out on the other side of terror, stronger and more thankful than ever before.

God is good.
