Nursery

[As we continue on, I will continue adding more to this page.]

At this point we started with a blank slate, which is always a lot of fun, at least for people like me...

As you can see, not a darn thing... 

BUT about a week after we moved in we had a painting party with my mom (aka Nana) and Monique my sister-in-law (aka Momo).  Nana and Momo painted the top half of the walls in the nursery a lovely shade of peach, which was quite fun to watch, seeing as they are both on the shorter side! [hehe Love you girls!!]

After all the coats dried Daddy made his way in there and touched up some spots around the ceiling and windows and made it look perfect!

Thank God I am not the only anal-retentive person in this family, although, our poor children are screwed! 

 After about a week, I went in there and started a stencil of the damask, just to see how it looked.  And I was so excited I decided to do another....

And another....

Now I have these two whole rows done and couldn't be happier!

Although, now it has been roughly 2 weeks since any action has happened in the nursery due to a hospital visit and bed rest.. I hope to get back in there tomorrow to do a few more!  I just do a couple a day so that I am not in there for too long.

Here are the colors we are going for in the nursery.  The peach and the greens are already on the walls, the brown will be furniture and curtains and the purple will be the fun accent color!!

Can't wait to add more to her room so I can show it off!
